ABOUT US
Vision
The gospel of Jesus Christ calls on us to help people everywhere, attending to material as well as spiritual needs.

Entrepreneurship in developing nations provides a very important contribution to purposeful employment, income security, self-sufficiency and the strengthening or development of a business vision by those involved. Furthermore, such initiatives contribute significantly to the development of a society. Therefore, it is important that the principles of responsible management are applied and that a percentage of the profits are destined for local charities.

Stimulating local entrepreneurship in developing nations requires close collaboration between the business community, development organizations, and local partners. Each partner contributes equally and valuably in the establishment of effective business initiatives. It is World Partners' role to bring those parties together.

As a Christian foundation, World Partners appeals specifically to Christian entrepreneurs. Christians are stewards over everything God has bestowed on them, which includes their time, knowledge and finances.

 GOALS

To support initiatives by the local populace in developing countries to start commercial projects. This support can be in the form of financial aid, as well as commercial or industry specific assistance.

To break down cultural barriers between western Christian business people and their partners in developing countries, by cultivating understanding for each other's situation and cultural background.

To utilize eventual profits from the aforementioned projects, to support other social projects.

To encourage reciprocal support in the relationship between western Christian business people and their partners in developing countries.

World Partner's goals are inspired by Psalm 67:7,
"God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear Him."
 INTERNAL STRUCTURE
  •  WORLD PARTNERS EUROPE AND WORLD PARTNERS USA

World Partners Europe was founded in 1994 in The Netherlands. It rapidly became clear that cooperation with international partners is very important. The concept of creating Christian development aid, stimulating entrepreneurship, and tying this with a social element was well accepted in the United States. Consequently, in 2002, World Partners USA was founded in the state of Virginia.  Now World Partners consists of several divisions in different countries.

  • CLUSTERS AND OFFICE

An area leader works with the World Partners projects as a primary contact person. The area leader maintains contact with the World Partners office and the cluster leaders.

World Partners' unique structure calls for the execution of all projects to be the responsibility of a cluster. Such clusters are, until now, only volunteers. A cluster can manage one or more projects in a certain region. There is, for example, a cluster in Ukraine and one in Tanzania.

Based on the project plan for a specific project, World Partners' board makes a decision whether or not to proceed with a specific project. The cluster leader and his office play an advisory role. Once the decision has been made about a project, the cluster leaders is responsible for communicating the decision. The role of the World Partners office is to take on tasks that are being delegated by the clusters and to provide general support in areas such as communication, project oversight, and adherence to procedures and promises made. To reduce administrative tasks like translations, website, and database maintenance are being handled by volunteers.
