Background:
In Eastern-Java, there is a lot of poverty, unemployment, and children who are unable to go to school.

To break this circle, close to Blitar a couple of farmers united in a cooperative. These farmers are all looking for a way to have cows and provide for their own livelihoods.

• Provide income to participants in the project. Have influence on the people around the project.

• Realize viable and succesful companies

The cooperation currently has more than ten members, who all have a certain number of cows. The choice was made to farm with milk cows because there is big need for milk and meat.

Most members of the cooperative face problems buying a cow, because of the high price of these cows. In the project, farmers get support to buy one or more cows. Farmers have the knowledge necessary to tend the cows.
