Livingstone named Uganda “the pearl of Africa”. For an African country, Uganda has great rainfall which causes great diversity of plants, animals and abundant species of birds. The land is very fertile as well. The republic of Uganda receives bilateral help from different European Countries, as the criteria of poverty, social-economic policy and administration is met. Although Uganda has the potential to be a rich country, more than 35% of its inhabitants are living under the poverty line. The ongoing civil war in the North of Uganda is coming to an end as the rebels of the so called “Army of the Lord” and government are on speaking terms. This is hopeful because many children were kidnapped and forced to be soldiers. Otherwise, Uganda is one of the most stable countries in the region.
